Wonderful Copenhagen

Copenhagen is the capital and largest city of Denmark. It is situated on the island of Zealand and is separated from the city Malmo in Sweden by the strait of Øresund.
In 2008, the magazine Monocle listed Copenhagen first in their Top 20 Most Liveable Cities Chart, and gave the city the special award as "Best Design City".
The original designation for the city, from which the Danish name "København" is derived, was Køpmannæhafn, meaning "merchants harbour".
1000+ years of history awaits you on the medieval streets of Copenhagen. The houses, streets and surrounding canals have inspired artists for centuries, and been home and workplace for poets, meticulous craftsmen and famous designers.
